22. Albinus Metalus WAKEFIELD was born on 6 Jan 1825 in Ohio. He died on 29 May 1869. He was married to Maranda Malvina HARRIS on 17 Dec 1850 in Ovid, Branch County, MI.
Born in Ohio January 6, 1825, Albinus Metelus Wakefield was one of five sons and a daughter born to Lucina (Key) and William Wakefield.
Albinus together with his brothers Carlton and William, came to Michigan to find work as farm laborers and later buy land of their own. In 1850, Albinus was working as a farmer in Algansee Township, Branch County for Franklin Warren, and Carlton was close by, farming for Jonathan Bickford. Younger brother William
was here too, already married and farming on his own.
It was the same year that Albinus took a wife. He married Maranda Melvina Harris on December 17, 1850 in Branch county, Michigan. She was born May 11, 1833 to William and Sally (Holcomb) Harris. She died August 4, 1902 in Bethel Township, Branch County, Michigan.
They had five children, but he did not live to see them to maturity. He died at the age or 44 on May 29, 1869 according to family records.
